We are after all a secular nation Elsewhere you have said our government in based in Christianity. Which is it? Ya can't have it both ways. We are and you know it. We were founded by Christian men who drew up our laws based on the Bible. We have the freedom to worship as we wish without a state sponsered religion. They mention "god" in many of our historic papers and the constitution.

The muslims right to pray ends when they disturb other people by praying. Just like a smokers right to light up ends at the tip of my nose. The God of the Islamic people is not the same God as the Christian god since the Christian Bible says the jews are the chosen people and that Israel belongs to the jews. God gave Israel to the jews.. The Muslims say their god is against the jews and the jews and Israel have no right to exist. They call jews "pigs' a very bad term in their language. There's a wide gap there.

Here in America we don't pray in public Yes, we do. I can't count the times I've seen people pray before meals at Denny's, Golden Corral, Furrs, and other "public" places. It doesn't bother me if people of any faith want to pray, unless I feel they're going out of their way to make spectacles of themselves. Peace, OHD

The word "God" is not mentioned but other names such as 'Creator' are used and many times, He is implied.

Students also pray before a test in a public school too. These Muslims go thru a 5 minute prayer thing with a prayer rug and knealing on the floor. Not the same thing, since it disturbs others.

What do you think a "creator" is?? - A big bang theory? What about the name "God" mentioned on our other historic papers? "God" is even on our money. The "Pledge" has "God" mentioned in it. We are founded on a Christian based system. The constitution does not say anyplace "seperation of church & state" that's something liberal courts saw there. All it sez is that the gov't can't make no state sponsered religion. Please Excuse my poor gramer & spelling, thanx.
