Oh, oh. They were definately wrong to ostrisize you, IF that's what they were doing. As you know, women have large support groups they run to in church, while men do not. The pastor of the church should have contacted you. tha't his job, especially after a traumatic experience. You did not state the REASON for your divorce. If you were guilty of something and that lead to the divorce, some people do not want to associate with people like that, whether rightly or wrongly. That would not excuse the pastoral staff from reaching out to you and speaking with you about the situation. But don't make the mistake of judging this group of people with all churches. I know our pastor has a ministry in which he visits, personally, every home where there is any kind of trouble. We are a church of 1000 people.
so, there is bitterness on your part. I can feel your pain. It was wrong of them. They are not perfect, however and mess up. You have to forgive them for your sake. Rejection is a difficult pill to swallow, especially from those you once loved and ate, worshipped and played with. I am praying for you, my good man.

I'll send you a PM like I promised. At least with my experiance behind me I have to agree with Saurkraut :support /help him.His leadership days are over I'm afraid. As for Swaggert,I have to agree with Bizz,it was quite an acting job. Some of these TV preachers like Tilton,Swaggert, etc give evangelicals a bad image, not something you can have.Joel Osteen always seems to have a positive, uplifting message and at least to me appears genuine.OK,back to the gay pastor before IHP smacks me round ;D
