www.nbcnews.com/news/world/king-charles-cancer-diagnosis-royal-health-speculation-rcna137414LONDON — Britain’s King George VI died 72 years ago Tuesday after cancer treatment so secret that it was hidden from the media, the public — and perhaps even the king himself. On the eve of that anniversary, his grandson King Charles III broke with that tradition of royal mystery by announcing that he, too, has been diagnosed with cancer. The king has been lauded for his openness, saying he chose to make the announcement “to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

I hope he will be alright. Something about the Royal family I have always liked. Well with the exception of Harry...

I don't know how accurate it is but it gave me some insight into how difficult their lives really are. I felt so bad for all of them honestly.

I feel sorry for the children but based on the fact he flew all that way and only stayed 45 minutes and flew home makes me think the wounds have not healed. His brother wouldn't even see him.

That's pretty strange. Why only 45 minutes?

That's pretty strange. Why only 45 minutes? I don't know I read the 'Telegraph' which is a UK paper and they said he was there for 45 minutes then caught a flight back home. Why even go?
