TULSA, Oklahoma - School districts across Green Country are keeping an eye on the forecast for Friday morning. A few degrees could mean the difference between a day off and business as usual. EMSA said Thursday night, from 5:15 to 7:30, it had already handled nine wrecks. That's compared to just two under normal conditions, for all of Wednesday. The Tulsa Public Schools district covers a lot of ground and conditions can be different at different schools. When weather hits, transportation workers check the roads early and report back to administrators, who make the call. source
