General Motors Co. is recalling nearly 1.37 million vehicles because a washer fluid heater module could overheat and cause a fire, the National Highway Safety Administration said Tuesday.
The recall covers the 2006-2009 Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS, Hummer H2; 2008-2009 Buick Enclave and Cadillac CTS; and 2007-2009 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Acadia, Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, Saturn Outlook and the 2009 model year Chevrolet Traverse.

Geeee, I wonder if Toyota sent in undercover men to tamper with UAW cars? Hardly necessary, GM is perfectly capable of turning out trash on their own, they have been for years.

Just waiting for my recall notice...............I love my DTS but heating washer fluid is pretty "over the top" if you ask me

Got my recall notice,car fixed and I got a $100 check!! Who needs heated washer fluid anyway? PIP,did your model years have this problem?

I'm too poor to buy a car that new, LOL! I have 2003 trailblazer...but it's a good dependable car.

No Rusty my DTS don’t have that problem ( any more ) , last night it went swimming in the Pow Wow river. Remember the new DTS you mentioned to me earlier, well maybe. Are you freakin kiddin me??? I assume everyone is OK... My son borrowed the car for a job meeting, he picked it up that evening, on his way home he went to make a call and his flip flops slipped from brake to gas and he drove right down a boat ramp. the only thing hurt was his pride and my wallet.

I'm too poor to buy a car that new, LOL! I have 2003 trailblazer...but it's a good dependable car. Those are solid SUV's.My ex had one(2002).The only negative thing was the gas milaege.I could actually watch the gas gauge head south
